How it works
Here's How Nattokinase breaks down blood clots
Blood clots form when fibrin binds to cholesterol and calcium in arteries. They stick together like glue.
Nattokinase works to break down Fibrin, the glue of the blood clot.
By breaking down Fibrin, the blood clot disforms and arteries unclog.

How Nattokinase Breaks Down The Spike Protein
Natttokinase has been studied for its potential to degrade the spike protein of SARS-CoV-2, the virus responsible for COVID-19. The spike protein facilitates the virus's entry into human cells by binding to the ACE2 receptor.
In a 2022 study, researchers investigated the effects of nattokinase on the SARS-CoV-2 spike protein. They found that when cell lysates expressing the spike protein were incubated with nattokinase, the spike protein was degraded in a dose- and time-dependent manner. Additionally, immunofluorescence analysis demonstrated that nattokinase degraded the spike protein present on the cell surface. These findings suggest that nattokinase may inhibit SARS-CoV-2 infection by degrading its spike protein.
